Biography
William Stransky has a broad litigation practice with experience in corporate and commercial litigation, administrative law, and insolvency and restructuring proceedings.
William has assisted businesses, individuals, and financial institutions with a range of disputes, including:
- business and shareholder disputes
- contract disputes
- complex corporate reorganizations
- security realization and debt enforcement proceedings
He has appeared as counsel in courts in BC, Alberta, and Ontario and has represented clients before private arbitration panels and various administrative tribunals, including the BC Securities Commission.
William previously practiced at an international law firm in Vancouver and, before that, clerked for six justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court. He obtained his law degree from the University of British Columbia, where he received awards for academic standing and community involvement and as a member of the winning team in the B.C. Law Schools Moot.
